THE WARM METALS

Gold, Copper and Brass are making a comeback.

Some of you are still trying to rid your home of all the brass picture frames, lamps and doorknobs - and here it is - back again...

But at least it has a new look.  The gold is burnished, the brass is antiqued, take a look and see if you feel like living with these metals again....

What do you think?  Notice how the metals all mix and play together...?  Can you handle a little gold,  brass  or a little copper to warm up your metals?

Dear Claudine,

Would you be able to point me in the right direction to find what paint is used on the attached dining room photo - it's a lovely orange/cantaloupe - not too bright, not too dull.  I've been searching for over a year for the perfect orange/gold for my bright room.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Monique, this looks very similar to Benjamin Moore's Hawthorne Yellow.  Try that and see if it gives you the look you want!  Best of luck!
